When people think about the Costa Blanca, one place always stands out, Benidorm.
Yesterday we were in Benidorm again, just walking around, and it reminded me why so many people keep coming back here. It’s not complicated, it’s just easy to enjoy, and that’s exactly what makes it special.
You’ve got everything close to each other. The skyline, the sea, the restaurants, the beaches. You can be in a lively area with music and people around you, and just a few minutes later you’re walking somewhere calm, just listening to the sea.
One of the best things about Benidorm is simply the lifestyle. Long walks along the promenade, especially in the afternoon or early evening when the temperature is perfect. You don’t need a plan. You just walk, stop somewhere for a drink, maybe a fresh sangria, sit down, and enjoy. There are so many places where you can do this, small bars, terraces, restaurants, all facing the sea.

you always find people enjoying the moment. Some taking pictures, some just sitting and looking at the view. It’s simple, but it works. You understand why people love it.
If you walk towards Levante Beach

this is where everything becomes more lively. This area is very popular with English visitors, and you can see why. Everything is close, bars, pubs, restaurants, and hotels. It’s social, it’s easy, and you always find something going on. Whether it’s during the day or at night, there is always an atmosphere.
On the other side, Poniente Beach

is completely different. Much calmer, more space, more local people. It’s the side of Benidorm where you go if you want to slow things down. Perfect for long walks, especially at sunset.
Then you have La Cala de Finestrat

and this is where many people start thinking about staying long term. It’s quieter, more residential, and feels more like real living rather than just holiday. A lot of people who move to this area choose La Cala because it gives you peace but still keeps you very close to Benidorm.

where you can enjoy water sports or take a boat to places like Calpe, Denia or Tabarca. So even if you stay in one place, you can easily explore more of the coast.
For families, Benidorm is one of the easiest places. Everything is here, Terra Mítica, Aqualandia and Mundomar. It’s one of those destinations where both adults and children are happy without needing to travel far.

Many people choose to live around these golf areas because you get space, views, and a more peaceful lifestyle while still being very close to everything.
Benidorm is also a strong investment location. There is always demand, especially for holiday rentals. You can buy an apartment and rent it out very easily, or just keep it for your own holidays.

The truth is, Benidorm works for a lot of people. You can come for a short holiday, enjoy the lifestyle, and then slowly start to see yourself here more often. And for many, that turns into something more permanent.
